"Love Story"... This remarkable pendant features a gorgeous, heart-shaped Maligano Cabochon bezel set in fine silver.  It is encompassed by two rows of sterling silver beads and sits atop a intricately hand-scalloped sterling silver backplate.  I've also fabricated a lovely sterling silver rose, long a symbol of love, to add to the romance of this piece.  The upper layer of "Love Story" sits above a secondary backplate that has also been scalloped to compliment the design. Both layers have been intricately hand pierced and sawn with one of my favorite  designs... a hummingbird enjoying nectar from a garden flower.  The dimension of the piercings through layers not only adds interest to the pendant, it allows you to get a glimpse of the Maligano cabochon from the back.  Making this piece was a work of love... I hope it can be the first chapter in your love story.
